Design International is delighted that they will be honoured at the European Property Awards in the Marriott Grosvenor Square, London on the 27th October for their project Maximall Pompeii which has been recognised in the Retail Architecture category. Maximall Pompeii has been named among the most innovative, exceptional, and ambitious projects of 2016, representing its country on an international stage in London next month.
The awards, which are in their 25th year, are judged by an independent panel of 70 industry experts. Judging focuses on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability. The European Property Awards are the largest, most prestigious, and widely recognised programme throughout the regions.
This announcement marks a significant achievement for Design International, with the International Property Award Winners’ logo being recognised as a symbol of excellence throughout the industry. Entries are subject to a stringent vetting procedure, with only six per category, per country put through to the rigorous judging process, and for Design International to have this project through is a fantastic accomplishment.
"I am deeply honoured to receive this prestigious award for Maximall Pompeii. Design International strongly believe that this project represents a new and inspiring model for retail architecture and public space design.
But, most importantly, our wish is that Maximall Pompeii is the catalyst for a new wave of urban regeneration for the town and also the neglected and abandoned areas around, so that the entire economy of the region can come back to life.” Roberto Sibiano.
