It has been an extremely busy month for Design International, with the grand opening of Il Centro in Milan taking place on Thursday 14th April, and then the firm's Head of Global Business Development, Luca Cappuccitti, taking the position of co-Chairman at the ICSC European Conference the week later. There is no time to rest for the team, who are now preparing for RLI Connect and the Global RLI Awards taking place next week.
This year, RLI Connect, which is being held in London, is being attended by Design International's Head of Global Business Development, Luca Cappuccitti - (meeting requests via Rebecca Mifsud - firstname.lastname@example.org). RLI attracts retailers, leisure operators, developers and shopping mall owners from all corners of the globe for a networking event over two days. Following on from this event, the Global RLI Awards takes place the following day on 5th May.
Design International is delighted to have been shortlisted for two Global RLI awards this year - the ‘RLI Designer 2016’ award and the 'RLI Future Project 2016' award with Kingdom City Mall, Jeddah. Decided by a panel of industry experts, the RLI Global Awards are presented once a year and open to architecture and design firms with projects within the retail and leisure industry from around the world. This award is a tribute to the designer/firm that consistently and accurately delivers the value of a brand to both business and customers. The panel of industry-expert judges have shortlisted their finalists based on both the design process and its objective and, most importantly, the results.
