This year marks a truly special moment in the history of Design International. We are proud to celebrate 60 years of visionary architecture and design around the world, 40 years of our London studio, and 20 years of our Milan office.

Our journey has always been defined by one thing: people. Not just the millions who experience the spaces we create, but the diverse, passionate teams who bring them to life.

Each studio reflects the spirit of its place while sharing a common mission: to design spaces that connect, inspire, and endure. We believe that architecture is an inclusive, social profession. It’s about listening as much as creating, understanding the communities we serve and crafting environments that encourage belonging, exchange, and joy.

Throughout the decades, we’ve designed everything from pioneering retail destinations to immersive mixed-use spaces, with an unwavering commitment to sustainability, innovation, and storytelling. What sets us apart is our deep understanding of the movement of people. Whether it's guiding the seamless flow of thousands in a bustling mixed-use district or creating a moment of pause in a vibrant retail centre, we understand how people enter, engage, explore, and connect within space.
